- Performance List Tunes:
Performance Tunes are those tunes having been played by TCNL in recent years at levels acceptable for public events. The goal of such is to aid in preparing set lists for future events.
List update is pending, scheduled for Q4 2021.
- Core Tunes:
Those tunes played, both currently and in the past, by the majority of the Lag’s members. The assigned numbers indicate groupings to aid newer members in selecting tunes they might wish to learn. Those numbered (1) are the easier tunes, (2) are tunes with a polska emphasis, (3) through (7) are tunes that are good to learn in tune groups, (8) are tunes the Lag plays with others outside the Lag, and (99) are other popular tunes.
- Dance List Tunes:

Updated November 2021.
- Focus Tunes:
Those tunes recommended by the Lag’s Music Committee, with the intent that these tunes be eventually added to the Core Tunes List. These may be new tunes from workshops or other sources or may have once been previously played by the Lag.
- Uppland Allspel Tunes:
Those tunes that are currently played at major Uppland stämmor (Eric Sahlström - Vendal, Gille och Nyckelharpa - Österby, Oktober - Uppsala, Byse Kalle - Älvkarleby).
Last updated for 2019 stämmor.
The purpose of the TCNL is to educate its members and others about the nyckelharpa traditions as found largely in the Uppland region of Sweden; to conduct educational programs and activities that will promote awareness and knowledge of the nyckelharpa; to provide competent instruction in the traditional music associated with the nyckelharpa; and to provide practice and performance opportunities for its members.
